Welcome to India! Upon arrival at Kochi Airport, a representative will drive you to your hotel for check-in. Later, you will attend a Kathakali show and discover Kalaripayattu, a traditional martial art. These experiences will enrich your stay in Kochi.
Today, start with the Athirapally Falls. Then, visit the Paradesi Synagogue, the oldest still in use, featuring beautiful ceramic tiles. Next, head to St. Francis Church, where Vasco da Gama was buried, to explore the Portuguese colonial era. End with the Dutch Palace (Mattancherry Palace), an example of Dutch architecture adorned with beautiful Hindu murals. Afterwards, take a stroll through Fort Kochi to see the famous Chinese fishing nets, a sight not to be missed and a wonderful way to conclude your day.
Today, you will head to Munnar. Start your day with a visit to the Tea Museum, where you will learn about the history and the tea-making process in Munnar. Next, head to the Attukal Waterfalls, an idyllic spot where you can admire the natural beauty. In the evening, visit the Lakkam Waterfalls for another experience of the region’s natural beauty. This place is quieter and less crowded, making it perfect for relaxation.
Today, start the day with a visit to Eravikulam National Park to admire its stunning landscapes and enjoy a hike. Next, head to the Mattupetty Dam. Continue with a stroll through the Rose Garden. Then, proceed to Sitadevi Lake for a peaceful walk along the water, where you can admire impressive waterfalls. End your day with a visit to the Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary, known for its biodiversity. After a fulfilling day, you will drive to Thekkady and check into your hotel.
After breakfast, head to Vagamon. Start with a walk through the Vagamon Meadows, then visit the Pine Forest, perfect for photography. Relax by Vagamon Lake, followed by a hike to Murugan Hill for scenic views. Explore the Vagamon Orchid Garden, then finish your day at the Vagamon Glass Bridge with stunning valley views. After a fulfilling day, check into your hotel in Thekkady.
After breakfast, start with a visit to Periyar (Thekkady) and enjoy the cool climate of the Western Ghats. In the afternoon, visit a spice plantation with a naturalist to explore the aromas of cinnamon, cardamom, pepper, and nutmeg. Next, visit the Mangala Devi Temple for a stunning view. Don’t miss the observation tower for wildlife spotting. Continue to Murikkady and Pandikuzhi to enjoy scenic landscapes, then visit the Tribal Heritage Museum to learn about the local culture.
After breakfast, drive to Alleppey. Upon arrival, a houseboat awaits you for an unforgettable cruise along the backwaters. A day-long houseboat trip in Alleppey is a peaceful and beautiful way to explore the Kerala backwaters. You will sail on Lake Vembanad and its canals, surrounded by lush greenery, palm trees, and traditional villages. On board, enjoy traditional Kerala dishes like fish curry, appam, and rice. Throughout the day, you can stop at villages or rice fields to observe local life. It’s a perfect opportunity to relax, enjoy nature, and spot birds and wildlife.
Today, head to Kollam. Start with a cruise on Ashtamudi Lake, then relax on the sand at Kollam Beach and don’t miss the historic Thangassery Lighthouse for panoramic views. In the afternoon, explore Kollam Port, followed by a trip to Monroe Island. If time permits, visit Kollam Port. End your day with a visit to the Muthuraja Temple.
Today, head to Varkala to admire its stunning cliffs and beaches. Next, visit the Jatayu Earth Center for panoramic views and to learn about the legend of Jatayu. Then, visit the Janardana Swami Temple, a peaceful religious site. Take a trip to the Varkala Aquarium to explore local marine life. End the day with a beautiful sunset at Varkala Beach. If time permits, take a visit to Black Beach, a serene and charming spot. After a full day, drive to Trivandrum and check into your hotel.
