On arrival at Delhi International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our driver. He will take you to your hotel where you can rest and refresh after your trip. Take this day to relax and soak up the vibrant atmosphere of Delhi. If you wish and depending on your arrival time, you can explore some of the city's iconic attractions, such as the famous Lotus Temple, renowned for its remarkable lotus flower-shaped architecture. In the evening, you will have the freedom to dine at your leisure and rest comfortably at your hotel.
You will take a flight to Leh, the picturesque capital of the Himalayan region of Ladakh. During the flight, you will have the opportunity to admire the spectacular views of the snow-capped peaks of the Himalayan mountains. On arrival at Leh Airport, you will be greeted by our local team and transferred to your hotel. Due to the high altitude of Leh, it is recommended to take some rest to acclimatize to the altitude. Take advantage of the afternoon to relax and soak up the unique atmosphere of this city nestled in the heart of the mountains.
Discovering the Indus Valley Today you will explore the Indus Valley, where you will visit some of the largest Buddhist monasteries in the region. You will explore sacred sites such as the monasteries of Shey, Thiksey, Hemis and Alchi, soaking up the spirituality and cultural richness of these holy places. This day will also be the perfect opportunity to acclimatize to the altitude before the start of your mountain adventure. In the evening, you will have the chance to taste delicious momos, Tibetan dumplings, at a local restaurant.
After breakfast, you will depart early in the morning from your hotel to visit several picturesque villages in the region. You will learn about the daily lives of local people and explore fascinating cultural and religious sites, such as Karzoo Village and Samkar Gompa Monastery. Next, you will travel to Sabu, where you will visit an ancient monastery and spend the night in an authentic Ladakh yurt.
Indus Valley Rafting (3500m) This morning you will head to Spituk for a thrilling Indus River rafting adventure. You will descend the tumultuous waters of the Indus to the village of Nimmu, located at the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar rivers. After rafting, you will have the opportunity to stroll around the picturesque village of Nimmu and explore its surroundings. In the evening, you will spend the night in a charming boutique hotel offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains.
After breakfast, you will depart for Likir, where you will visit an ancient Buddhist monastery known for its colourful murals and peaceful atmosphere. Next, you will trek to Yangtang village, passing through the Pobe-La and Charatse-La passes, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the snow-capped peaks of the Himalayan mountains. You will spend the night in a tent in Yangtang, where you can soak up the unique atmosphere of this traditional village.
Today you will set off on a day hike through spectacular scenery to the village of Hemis Skupachan. You will cross the Tsermangchan La pass, from where you can admire breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and peaks. Then you will descend to the charming village of Hemis Skupachan, where you will spend the night in a tent. Night in tent at Hemis Skupachan.
After breakfast, you will embark on a scenic hike through mountainous landscapes to Mebtak La Pass, where you will have panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. Then you will descend to the Dangdong Tokpo valley and reach the village of Temisgam, where you will spend the night in a tent.
In the morning, after breakfast, you will set off for a day of hiking through picturesque valleys and traditional villages. You will pass through green fields and crystal clear rivers, before reaching the charming village of Skining, where you will spend the night in a tent.
After breakfast, you will undertake the last stage of your trek, walking to the village of Khalse. Along the way, you will pass through picturesque landscapes, with magnificent views of the surrounding mountains. Once you arrive in Khalse, you will be welcomed by our local team and you will take the road towards Leh. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to visit the SECMOL School of Sustainable Development, where you will learn about sustainable development initiatives in the region. Upon arrival in Leh, you will be transferred to your hotel for rest and relaxation.
Today you will have a free day to explore the charming town of Leh at your own pace. You can stroll through the narrow streets of old Leh, discover local crafts in traditional shops and visit the city's historical monuments. Also take advantage of this day to soak up the unique atmosphere of Leh and prepare for your return to Delhi the next day. In the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner on the rooftop of a local restaurant, offering panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.
After breakfast, it will be time to say goodbye to the beautiful region of Ladakh. You will be transferred to Leh Airport to board your return flight to Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi, our driver will welcome you at the airport and take you to your hotel. You will have the rest of the day free to relax and rest after your journey from Leh.
Your incredible trip to Ladakh is coming to an end. Depending on the time of your departure flight, you will have free time to enjoy your last moments in Delhi. You might be able to do some last-minute shopping or enjoy delicious Indian cuisine one last time. Then our driver will take you to Delhi International Airport for your return flight.
